Return of Pauley Perrette to NCIS is Discussed by Co-Star, and Unexpected Reaction is Revealed

From 2003 to 2018, Pauley Perrette starred as Abby Sciuto on NCIS. The actress was an integral part of the show, and fans were devastated when she left. Her former co-star Brian Dietzen recently opened up about the possibility of her return in a recent interview after being asked about the swirling rumors that she would return in some capacity, which were fueled further after he shared a photo with her on Twitter.

“No, I have not heard that,” Looper replied when approached. I spoke with her over the weekend, and I haven’t heard from her since.

“I do know that in the new script I was just reading, there’s a reference to her character — not necessarily her, or anything like that.” But that’s what makes the show so appealing. We can mention past characters who are no longer on the show and refer to them in the same way that you would a family member who no longer lives in the same house.

“You’re still mentioning people. They remain in your heart. I’m excited about the possibility, but I haven’t heard anything specific about her return.”

Brian Dietzen, Pauley Perrette’s former NCIS co-star, has spoken out about her possible return.
Pauley herself has spoken out about a possible return to the show, revealing that she has no plans to do so.

Following her departure, Pauley chose not to look for other television work, but she did return to the screen to play the lead in the NBC sitcom Broke. However, the show was canceled after only one season, and the actress announced her retirement from acting in 2020.

The beloved actress has been through a lot in recent years, and she recently took to Twitter to share some heartbreaking news with fans. She revealed in a lengthy post that she had a stroke last year, among other traumatic events.

It said: “It’s 9/2. I had a massive stroke a year ago. Before that, I had lost so many loved ones, including my father and then Cousin Wayne. Despite this traumatic life I’ve been given thus far, I’m still a survivor… And I’m still thankful, still full of faith, and STILL HERE!”

The actress posted a video of herself with the caption, “Oh my God, it’s September 2nd, it’s the one-year anniversary since I had a stroke, and I’m still here.”

“Yes, I’m still here, like how many times do I cheat d3ath?” she continued. The actress went on to say that she “almost d1ed from a hair dye allergy” and was also the v1ctim of an assault. After hearing the actress’s upsetting news, fans rushed to show their support.
